The U.S. Department of State, in partnership with Co-Creation Hub Nigeria (CcHUB), will host a first-ever YALI TechCamp Reconnect in Lagos, Nigeria.  The event will convene a select group of alumni from across the YALI Network who attended YALI TechCamp PretoriaTechCamp NiameyYALI TechCamp GhanaYALI TechCamp LusakaYALI TechCamp Abidjan, and U.S. Mission Nigeria-led TechCamps in Kano, as well as technology trainers from those workshops and other leading international experts.  YALI TechCamp Reconnect follows inaugural TechCamp Reconnects in Warsaw and Bangkok, and aims to support the continued development of TechCamp-inspired partnerships and technology solutions for strengthening civic engagement, promoting good governance and transparency, and countering violent extremism in Africa.  Over the course of three days, participants will gain customized training and mentorship to further build out their projects, to perfect their pitch, and to shape a concrete action plan for advancing their work upon returning home.
