Description

The U.S. Department of State, in partnership with The Asia Foundation, is hosting its second-ever TechCamp Reconnect event, to connect alumni of previous TechCamps with additional training, mentorship, and support for projects that resulted from their original workshops. YSEALI TechCamp Reconnect will be held in Bangkok, Thailand and focus on advancing the development of technology solutions and effective issue-based campaigns around transnational challenges of strategic importance for the ASEAN region.

YSEALI TechCamp Reconnect will bring together 35 YSEALI Network members from all ten ASEAN countries who participated in TechCamp Thailand, TechCamp Cambodia, TechCamp Hyderabad, YSEALI TechCamp US-ASEAN and TechCamp Myanmar.

Over the course of the two-day workshop, technology trainers and other subject matter experts will work with participants to further build out their projects and to guide them through the ins and outs of business modeling, marketing, strategic planning, impact measurement, and pitching their idea. Participants will walk away from YSEALI TechCamp Reconnect with sharpened digital skills and a clear action plan to scale and accelerate the impact of their work upon returning home.
