TechCamp trainers will be in Cochabamba, Bolivia from October 27th through the 29th, working with 60 participants from Bolivia and other South American countries, including Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela.
The main purpose of this TechCamp is to increase the journalistic skills and knowledge of the participating journalists, technology practitioners, and social media influencers. Eight international and regional trainers will use their individual expertise within their respective professions to help improve the participants’ ability to tell accurate and effective stories.
By the end of the three-day event, participants will have learned the core principles necessary for combating misinformation and disinformation, creating audio-visual content, and reinforcing professional media networks in the region. We look forward to seeing how this TechCamp positively impacts the accuracy and reliability of the media in South America!
